He married MARGARET HOPKINS48 November 17, 186048, daughter of RICHARD HOPKINS and MARTHA HOPKINS. She was born October 20, 1837 in County Wicklow, Ireland49,50,51, and died July 18, 1908 in Grand View, Manitoba, Canada52.

The property on which Durham Cemetary is located once was owned by Thomas Edge Hutton and George Hutton. They sold it in 1887.
George Hutton married Margaret Hopkins on November 1, 1860. Margaret was born 1838 in Ireland. She died 1908.
