  General Notes:

Gottlieb and Augustine were both born in Poland under Russian rule. Their parents and grandparents were also born in Poland. In 1907 they moved to West Prussia. In January, 1921, the family moved from Nogath to Dzingellen, Kreis Goldap, East Prussia.

  Death Notes:

U. Ed was informed that his Father died March 12, 1945, as a result of the Russian invasion of East Prussia, which robbed them of all their possessions including clothing. He died from exposure.

Gottlieb married Augustine GROSS, daughter of Emanuel GROSS and Karoline MUND, on 31 Oct 1897 in Lublin, Poland. (Augustine GROSS was born on 14 Dec 1876 in Justinow, Poland and died on 31 Jan 1946 in Mistorf, Kr. Güstrow, Mecklenburg.)
