He was also an insurance broker and a Lieut. RCHA in WW1, then Captain at Military Headquarters in London in WW2.
George married Virginia Lee BUSH, daughter of Hiram Thomas BUSH and Pauline LEE, in 1919 in Hamilton, , ON. (Virginia Lee BUSH was born on 22 Jan 1898 in Port Hope, ON and died on 13 May 1979 in Kitchener, ON.)
