A printout in French describes Robert as co-owner of theatre ranch in the Moose Jaw region as well as owner of a ranch in the Rush Lake region. He was one of six ranchers from the south of Saskatchewan coming together in Moose Jaw to form an "association des eleveurs de betail" (stock breeders association). The 1901 census lists 5 ranch hands in his household.
Robert married ISABELLA. (ISABELLA was born on 31 Mar 1873.)
